Audioslave, specifically 'Like a stone', I love the quality of the singer's voice and how brash yet full of emotion and variety it is. The voice is very powerful and is paired well with the harsher instrumental.
Foo Fighters, all their songs are very good, but 'Everlong' really resonates with me because it's very unique compared to their other music and I like the instrumental. The music video they released with it is also super funny and it looked like they genuinely had fun with the whole project. Back when music was about expression rather than monetization ಥ_ಥ
Bush's 'Glycerine' is another on the top of the list since the instrumental is also very good. I love how they've tastefully combined somber violin with the slow, gravely guitar and the emotional vocals and lyrics, a lovely warm soup with flavours I didn't expect would be so good together, *chef's kiss.
Starset Online: Easily been listening to these guys for the longest, ever since the 'My Demons' phase, but now I'm more of a 'Monster' or 'DEGENERATE' or 'WHERE THE SKIES END' person. Overall very "inspirational, powerful space alien" kind of vibe with the whole band, very futuristic, modern, sci-fi rebellious music.
Arctic Monkeys: They have very 'sexy' sounding music, with slow, catchy and strong beats, seductive lyrics and smooth baselines. They've gone viral on Tiktok recently (but of course I didn't discover the music there). My current favorites are "Why'd you only call me when your high?", "I wanna be yours", "are u mine?" and "do I wanna know?"
Everyone here can be found on YouTube, that's where I "borrow" my music for my MP3 player. I copy the URL by right-clicking the video and then paste in a website called y2mate, but be careful since you could get malware if you download the wrong thing ( •̀ ω •́ )✧
